Innovation-TRIZ Associates is a consulting group focused on three things: People, Ideas and Innovation. The latter cannot occur without the first two. We are certified in the use of both 16Types™ and the Kirton KAI™ that can assist teams and individuals understand how they relate not only to other people but to the problem solving environment. This allow them to focus their energy on the problems and challenges as opposed to each other.
We use the TRIZ (Theory of Inventive Problem Solving) tool kit to greatly improve the efficiency of problem solving, product design, and forecasting through the use of the patterns of invention in the global patent literature. A TRIZ session focuses a large amount of energy in the front end problem definition so that the challenge can be mapped against known problem solving patterns from the most breakthrough patents in the world. This eliminates the need, such as in a brainstorming session, to generate hundreds of useless ideas. This type of analysis also teaches you where to look and who to talk to for future product developments.
